Cancun
Cancun is perhaps one of the most well known Mexican destinations. Cancun is a party paradise for thousands of spring break students every year but it also holds a secret, quieter side that is family friendly and suitable for all ages. Cancun being a coastal location has some of the best beaches in Mexico. The capital is on the mainland but the beach front hotels are mostly located on the 7 shaped islands that make up the area.
Tijuana
Tijuana is on the other side of Mexico from Cancun and is another favourite with students, mainly because of its proximity to the US borders and its hundreds of bars and nightclubs. Tijuana needs to be seen to be believed. The nightlife is unbelievable and there are great bargains to be had during the day. Get your haggling hat on to barter in the market streets.
Acapulco
Acapulco is another famous landmark destination in Mexico. Acapulco was made famous by films and TV shows alike and has recently made a comeback. The pearl of the pacific has had a multibillion dollar facelift over recent years and as such is all sparkly and clean. Acapulco is now a classy location once again and the savvy traveller will want visit Acapulco. Acapulco has stunning natural beauty. Sandy beaches and palm covered mountains mean that it is the best place in Mexico to watch a sunset.
Mexico is a stunning country and one that should be on any tourist itinerary. Such a rich and varied country has something to offer everyone.
